It is important to understand the stages of chiropractic care because they are unique relative to those of other health-care disciplines. Because chiropractic addresses core physiological and bio-mechanical aspects of the body, the process to correct problems without drugs or surgery can take some time. Some conditions can be treated in a few visits, while others may take longer.
The outline below describes the four phases of care that are offered in our office. The amount of time spent in each phase depends on many things and varies from patient to patient.

Relief Care
Most patients start in this phase of care. They have an ache, pain or symptom that prompts them to begin chiropractic care. During the relief care phase we will work with you to relieve your pain and get you back to your normal activities.
Corrective/Rehabilitative Care
The obvious symptoms are now reduced but the cause often remains. Corrective care is designed to retrain, stabilize and strengthen the spine as well as the surrounding muscles and ligaments. Rehabilitative care builds on the investment used to get relief and help make changes that are lasting.
Maintenance Care
Regular maintenance visits help to maintain your progress and avoid relapse. Your visit frequency will vary based on your age, physical condition and the stresses in your life. The purpose of maintenance care is to help preserve the progress you have made through the first two phases of care.
Wellness Care
This phase is for people who want to take their care to the next level. In our office we offer several wellness services that compliment your chiropractic care. Our wellness services include cleanse detoxification, nutritional supplementation, and weight loss guidance. If you are interested in any of these services simply schedule a consultation.
Telemedicine
Doxy.me is a secure form of video chat so that we may connect to patients through the internet while still compliant with Hippa Law.
During a regular telemedicine call expect Dr. Yorker to review your symptoms, and provide exercises that will target fixing any problem areas one might have.
